ASCEND: Level Art

With my bachelor's degree now coming to a close, I would like to present to you ASCEND, my final project at NAD UQAC. With a team of 11 other incredible artist, we produced a walking simulator in UE5 over the course of 2 semesters where I worked as level artist and 3D modeler. I also had the opportunity to help manage the team and was heavily involved in the pre-production of the projet where I participated in the scenario, storyboard and aided in the art direction. with a bit of vfx work on the side too.

The environments were heavily inspired by Tibet and their culture with an added fantasy twist. I worked on the compositions, the landscape, the camera work and the placement of all our assets (folliage, vfx, kit and props).

A big thank you to my team Les mollusques, my mentor Jonathan Viens and our project director Michael Penta.
